Taking pictures
I used to be very unhappy about my life. The pressure of getting into the college, and the expectations that my family has put on me made me feel breathless. I use to have good friends and teachers, they offered to talk to me and let me speak all the problems out, but I felt so speechless. I couldn’t say a word when facing them. So I became lonely and weird. I didn’t know what can I do, and my life just wouldn’t get better. I can’t figure out a way to solve this puzzle. Then I began to stay at home all the time, therefore, gradually I just can’t talk to people. Sometimes I felt like I couldn’t look them in the eyes, because that would make me feel lonelier and left out. I felt so sad all the time. Even now look back at those days; I still can feel that at that time, my sky was always dark and gray. It was horrible and pathetic. I was hopeless. Then one of my best friend told me, “if you can’t talk to me, or you can’t talk to anyone, then at least go out, alone, to take some pictures. Maybe this would help”. Since then, I started to take pictures about the things around me. Such as my bed, my room, the books I read, or the plants in my room. I started to feel something has changed in me. I felt like I began to communicate with others, although they are not people. I felt that they would totally understand me and accept me. Then I hang the pictures up on a string, it was beautiful and peaceful. I felt happier. Then my friend came to see me. I took several pictures with her, and she took some pictures of me. I have never seen us together in a picture, and it was different, it feels so harmonic and so warm. I then understood that to see that you are together with someone is very different with to think that you are together. When you see the picture of you and your friend, the happiness inside picture is indescribable. Although you already felt happy enough with your friend, you will feel much happier when look at your pictures together. And this truly helped me. Since then, I began to walk outside and hang with my friends, and of course take pictures. Moreover, I’ve seen from the internet that to take one or two pictures per day will make you a happy day. I bet this works.

Movies
I would like to talk about movies in this blog. I am sure that everybody has seen a movie in his or her life, and there are absolutely a lot of people who like movies or love movies. I, myself is one of the people who love movies. After the communication with my friends who love movies as much as I do, I realized that people love movies in different ways, in their own ways. For example, I have my own expectations of a movie, if these expectations get fulfilled, then I can count the movie as a good movie. The aspect I care the most of a movie is the story itself. I think a good movie will present a very interesting story inside it and also there would always be a truth underneath the story. The truth must be covered by the story but there is always a clue for people to find it, believe it, and then spread it. I think the second aspect I care the most is the actor’s lines. I guess the good lines in a good sad movie can make you cry even you are not seeing the movie but only when you’re listening to it. You can feel the emotion through the lines of the characters even in the scripts. For instance, I would like to recommend a movie names “You’ve got mail”. I consider this movie as a very good movie because this movie is a very warm movie, and it also tells us that we need to be tough when we are facing the fights in our lives, and we also need to face the emotions in our heart then figure out which is the true love of our life. Before this, we need to stand on our own feet and fight for our life-long love. In this movie, the most part I love is when the feminine lead in this movie is feeling confused and helpless, she says:”Sometimes I wonder about my life. I lead a small life. Well, not small, but valuable. And sometimes I wonder, do I do it because I like it, or because I haven't been brave? So much of what I see reminds me of something I read in a book, when shouldn't it be the other way around? I don't really want an answer. I just want to send this cosmic question out into the void. So good night, dear void” I always remember this line when I am confused and unhappy, and this line makes me think about my own life, it teaches me how to figure out the difficult situations in my life.
I think this is the enchantment of good movies.
